The holiday season is a time for warmth, generosity, and coming together as a community. This year, we’re proud to support Dégagé Ministries, a local organization that has been providing life-changing resources and dignity to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Grand Rapids area since 1969.
As the Michigan winter ramps up, the need for warm clothing becomes even more urgent, and there is always a need for essential care items. With your participation, we can make a truly meaningful impact in the lives of our neighbors who need it.
How you can help
Premier Granite & Stone will be hosting a collection drive for items that can directly support the community that turns to Dégagé in their time of need.
You can support the drive in two ways:
Drop off donations in person through December 23rd
We will be collecting new items, including
- Coats and jackets
- Winter hats, gloves, scarves, and socks
- Winter boots
- Shampoo, soap, deodorant, lotions
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Feminine hygiene products
- Hand warmers
- Towels and washcloths
- Blankets
- Twin sheets sets
- Hair ties and brushes
- Pajamas
- Shirts size L and up
- Underwear

Shop the Amazon Wishlist Anytime
You can also support online by purchasing items from Dégagé’s Amazon Wishlist. These items are selected based on their most current needs and ships directly to their location to support their patrons.
You can shop their wishlist whenever it is convenient for you, even past the 23rd, however, Premier will only be matching donations made through the 23rd.

To maximize the impact we can make with Dégagé, Premier will match all donations given as part of this drive through December 23rd, including items purchased through Amazon (with a screenshot sent to Jennifer).
That means that your generosity will go twice as far, directly supporting the important work done for the community. We will match in a combination of item donations, voucher purchases, and monetary donations. We can make a difference that resonates long after the holidays!
