Guide the Project
Customers begin with an idea for their space. Sales, design and project teams help them understand their options, make informed selections and prepare the details needed to move the project forward.

Capture the Details
Digital template specialists visit the project site to gather precise measurements and document the conditions that will affect the finished surface. Accuracy at this stage provides the foundation for everything that follows.

Prepare for Production
CAD technicians and programmers translate project details into accurate digital plans and work directly with Project Managers to make sure we catch any potential issues before heading into fabrication and installation. Their work determines how material will be cut and helps production teams complete each piece efficiently.

Move and Shape the Material
Stone slabs require careful handling before fabrication can begin. Material handling teams receive, organize and move slabs safely while keeping production prepared. Saw and machine operators then use specialized equipment to cut and shape each surface according to the project plans.

Finish and Inspect
Finishers refine edges, polish surfaces and complete detailed handwork. Quality control helps ensure each piece meets project specifications and Premier’s standards before it leaves the shop.

Install and Care
Installation crews bring completed surfaces into homes and businesses. The work requires careful handling, craftsmanship, practical problem-solving and professional communication at the project site. Premier is also proud to have it’s own service department of stone experts who can help repair and maintain stone surfaces installed by Premier or other sources.

Transferable skills we look for
A career in the stone industry may be closer to your existing experience than it first appears. Many of the abilities used at Premier are developed in other trades, industries, classrooms and everyday work environments.
We consider the skills required for each position, but we also pay attention to how someone approaches the work. Experience can teach you how to use a particular tool or system. The care you bring to learning and doing the job well can shape how far those skills take you. You do not need every skill on these lists to be considered, the abilities that matter most will depend on the position you’re looking to explore.
